Head of Channel Management Proposition

Salary: £70000 to £110000

The package will include a basic of up to £75k, with bonus up to 35% .£5k car allowance 15% pension contribution making 25% if you put your 10% in and a range of other benefits. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To head up channel management, looking at all avenues for distribution, developing strategy and delivering growth. To research and exploit opportunities for proposition development within the protection and PMI market in order to develop innovative products that will expand market share. To conceive and develop new product propositions which enhance reputation and deliver against our brand personalities. To reinforce TCF and the brand by the production and design of products and supporting documentation which are clearly structured so that customers understand what our products deliver. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Director of Marketing & Distribution in investigating new possible product developments, in line with business strategy Identify opportunities with affinities, aggregators, IFAs, direct to consumer and develop appropriate strategies for achieving each of these propositions Research the market, identifying potential opportunities and presenting a business case internally to maximise competitive advantage. Work cross functionally, developing product and service propositions that fit with our strategy, meeting financial, business and conduct requirements that appeal to our target customer groups Anticipate customer need and exploit financial market opportunities to develop innovative products, bearing in mind technological developments Research and develop products that are profitable within a competitive market Develop and execute a new product development roadmap/plan which supports existing project process maps Manage the route to market of new propositions, liaising with Finance, Actuaries and IT to ensure feasibility and ensuring service to customers is paramount Regularly communicate high level product progress and concerns/issues to senior stakeholders Coordinate competitor and market analysis across multiple products Produce high quality reports on product progress for key events such as board meetings Liaison with compliance, legal and operational teams to ensure all product and promotional communication is clear, fair and not misleading PERSON PROFILE Open minded, entrepreneurial attitude Resourceful, thorough and decisive Ability to manage a variety of projects, tasks and deadlines Be resilient and results-focused A sense of urgency and prioritisation Highly refined communication skills Creative and innovative, underpinned by sound commercial judgement
